LESLIE KAMINOFF – Live Zoom: Introduction to Healing Through Breath-Centered Yoga

Sunday 30th January, 2022 | 9.00 am EST | 2.00 pm UK | 3.00 pm Paris

2 hours | recording available for 14 days (if you can’t attend live register to automatically receive the recording link)

We are delighted to welcome back Leslie for this Introduction to Healing Through Breath-Centered Yoga workshop. It is a wonderful way to start the year and especially for yoga practitioners and teachers emerging from the last years of pandemic.

Krishnamacharya’s and Desikachar’s therapeutic approach puts the central focus on two crucial elements: the breath, and the specific needs of the individual. In addition, promoting healing through yoga is based on the perspective that there’s always more going right for a person than has gone wrong.

Working from these principles, Leslie will share what he has learned during the past four decades. He will apply his teacher’s principles to working with groups and individuals. It will be predominantly lecture/demonstration with slides and possibly video illustrations, as well as opportunities for personal exploration and experience.

By demonstrating the teaching approach influenced by TKV Desikachar, Leslie will lead students in finding and attending to all that is still going right in any body at any particular time, even in moments of great distress.
